Happy Thursday pretties!!  I've been a little lost for motivation this week, maybe even a little gloomy. 

Some things in my life haven't been going the way I hoped so it's been a bit of a downer. 

Usually when that happens, I try to look for little things to perk my spirits up. 

I decided to paint my room a pretty pink! and focus on saving up for pretty furnishings...sigh...

though how long that will take, I'm not sure. I had to get new blinds because the kitties completely

 destroyed the ones I had. Naughty, naughty kitties!  lol...

Usually when I'm feeling a little lost, I look to music and pretty inspirational photos to inspire me and

so I decided to create this dream board of loveliness and dreaminess. I'm dreaming of sweet sad 

songs like the one at the bottom of this post by Princess Chelsea called  "We're so Lost."

It has such a fairytale vibe but the video is soo futuristic. I love it. Below is inspo for what I'd really love to be doing...

picking roses and pretty fleurs to put in my hair before going back to the prettiest flat in Paris.

 sigh....so dreamy, oui? 

Let's get our baskets and go pick some flowers in a never ending field of flowers that goes on and on and on...!

We can make the prettiest flower crowns with them and pretend to be princesses who live in a gorgeous 

Parisian flats like this one! What a view!!!!!!!!!!! I'd never be sad if I had a terrace like this one to enjoy a

coffee or matcha green tea and an almond croissant.

Ah, Monday is here and I'm feeling totally relaxed. Must be because of all that lazying about and relaxing I did this weekend. Isn't it nice to just take some time off....okay, I admit it I did do some work but not as much as I usually do... and just forget the world for a bit? Did you have a lovely Easter? I spent the entire weekend sleeping, cooking, coloring pretty eggs and eating them! and indulging in yummy chocolate truffles. Oh, and I baked some donuts. Check out my Instagram for pics. Well, Hello 2014!! Aren't you looking gorgeous? *wink* It's a brand new year peeps with a multitude of new experiences and opportunities ahead of us...the Year of the Horse too...or rather the Year of the Unicorn if you ask me! It's going to be a magical year of fun and delightful things ahead of us, don't you agree?  2013 was a year of change for me, some good, some very interesting changes to say the least...lol....but I like to think that we take away something useful no matter what we go through good or bad. Ya gotta keep positive, ya know? *wink* 

New Year brings new resolutions! Here's what I think we should all resolve to do this year.

Let's resolve to be a little bit nicer to everybody. A little bit of extra Kindness goes a long way. 

Let's resolve to say Thank You more....and You're Welcome. *wink*

Let's resolve to treat ourselves to the nicer things in life. There's nothing wrong with a little bit of luxury. Buy the shoes...and the lipstick...and the dress and hey, even the lingerie. A girl's got to have a complete outfit.

Let's resolve to focus more on our lifestyles and make them healthier. Stop those bad habits and eat better. (And in the long run you'll find that those weight loss resolutions will work themselves out! It totes worked for me, but that's another blog post.)



Let's resolve to buy Roses at least once a month.....because Roses make everything more splendid. 


Let's resolve to go somewhere new at least once that we haven't been to before.

Let's resolve to watch the sunrise in the morning every once in awhile. 

Let's resolve to LOVE ourselves more & be kind to ourselves. We're often our worst critics & I'm talking from experience here peeps. Let's stop being so overly critical of ourselves and just really ENJOY life.

Finally, I just have to let you guys know how much I love you and how much you mean to me. I'm so thankful that I've gotten to know each and everyone of you. You mean the world to me!!!!!! Mwah!!!! I can't wait to start the new year off with you!!  Let's say goodbye to 2013 and get ready to take on 2014 full speed ahead!! Bur first let's just turn up the volume and ROCK it out!!! Dance! Dance!!
