I'm just the biggest nerd ever. There I said it. It's out! I even have the glasses to prove it. *dimple* I thought I'd share some of my favorite shows with you guys! I don't watch too much TV but when I do I watch only my favorite shows and a lot of them are nerdy and have tons of awesome superheros in them. As a wee little girl I wanted to be Lois Lane, date Clark Kent (Tall, Dark, Dreamy and a Superhero) AND have superpowers! A girl has to have goals, ya know.

I'm a fan of Marvel and some of my favorite shows right now include Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. If you haven't seen this show yet....START! So much good stuff in it....it never fails to impress me and I just adore the actors & actresses in it. Clarke Gregg is hilarious! His humor in the show is definitely one of the reasons I watch it. I don't know if I can stand it to wait until September for the new season. le sigh...

To give you a little bit of a background:  "Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg, reprising his role from "The Avengers" and the "Iron Man" movies) heads an elite team of fellow agents with the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as SHIELD, as they investigate strange occurrences around the globe and protect regular citizens from the extraordinary. Its members -- each of whom brings a specialty to the group -- include combat and espionage expert Grant Ward, pilot and martial artist Melinda May, engineer Leo Fitz, biochemist Jemma Simmons, and computer hacker Skye."

Ahhh....two of my other favorite superhero shows is "Arrow" and "The Flash" which is actually a spinoff from "Arrow".  Stephen Amell is just such a great actor and a great person! I'm on his facebook page all the time and love reading up on his latest good deed and he does a lot of them. He's constantly helping to raise money for awesome charities, dabbles a bit in wine! and seems like a genuinely great guy to be friends with.

Background on the show: "When presumed-dead billionaire playboy Oliver Queen returns home to Starling City after five years stranded on a remote island in the Pacific, he hides the ways the experience has changed him. As he reconnects with those closest to him, including his sister, Thea, Oliver appears to be the same wealthy, carefree bachelor they've always known. At night, flanked by his devoted friend, Diggle, Oliver uses his secret persona -- that of a vigilante -- to right societal wrongs and transform the city to its former glory."

Background of "The Flash" : "At 11, Barry Allen's life changed completely when his mother died in a freak accident and his innocent father was convicted of her murder. Now a crime-scene investigator, his dedication to learn the truth about his mother's death drives him to follow up on every new scientific advancement and urban legend. When his latest obsession -- a particle accelerator heralded as a world-changing invention -- causes an explosion, it creates a freak storm and Barry is struck by lightning. He awakes from a coma nine months later with the power of superspeed. When he learns that others who have gained powers use them for evil, he dedicates himself to protecting the innocent, while still trying to solve the older mystery."

Here's Brandon Routh who plays Ray Palmer as "The Atom" in both "The Arrow" and "The Flash".
I can't wait to see his story line come alive in the new show!!

That brings me to the newest show that I'm sooo gosh darn excited about and is the reason why I decided to put together this little superhero post...."DC's Legends of Tomorrow"!! I am SUPER (Pun intended!) excited to see this new show. Check out the first look trailer below peeps & let me know what you think! Will you be watching it with me? #nerd #superhero #geekingout #marvel
