I’ve been using this Korean skincare that was kindly gifted to me by @mixsoon_japan and I LOVE it so much! ˚˖𓍢ִ໋🌷͙֒✧˚.🎀༘⋆ Here it is in my new PINK bathroom heart shelf! 

I’m going to be honest I haven’t really ever used skincare before. I usually just use soap, rinse and moisturize. That’s it! That’s probably funny considering I have a little beauty shop myself but I’m so glad I got to discover this Korean Brand cause I’m hooked on their products. 

I tried their double cleaning duo Bean Cleansing Oil (which has a fermented bean scent) and their Centella Cleansing Foam which smells like soap. Using these together it makes my skin feel cleansed, soft and hydrated! No dryness! 

I’ll follow up with their Centella Asiatica Toner which has no scent and really helps any irritations or redness I have. Feels very refreshing when I apply it. 

Next, I’ll grab their Bean Essence which is amazing!! It has such a unique texture…not sticky and so moisturizing. It makes my skin super smooth and glowy by exfoliating and hydrating it. Definitely in love with this serum. 

Next, I’ll use their three essences: Galaxtomyces Ferment Essence for skin discoloration and a bright even skin tone, Soondy Centella Asiatica Essence helps calm irritated skin and Bfida Ferment Essence which fortifies damaged skin barriers. These all help to create a radiant glass skin effect. When I get done applying all three of these, my skin feels so incredibly hydrated and plump… I can’t help but touch my skin on my face and marvel at how smooth it is.

And after that I'll use their Glacier Water Hyaluronic Acid Serum. How cute is the packaging? The texture of this serum is very luxurious to the touch and super hydrating to the skin. I can really see and feel my skin becoming super soft and radiant. I can't believe how big this bottle is too!     

I also received their Soybean Milk Pads and OMG, these are intensely hydrating. I love these so much! Each little pack comes with three sheets you can place on each cheek and your forehead. The GLOW you get with these!!!! Obsessed! 

The last item I received was their Centella Suncream with 50 SPF. It smells like Lavender and is moisturizing and lovely like a lotion when applied. It doesn’t leave any residue and has 50 SPF I know my skin will be protected from the sun. 

I was hesitant to use all of these fearing I’d get breakouts galore but my skin had one breakout and that’s it. It healed fairly quickly too! My skin is super soft, plump,  smooth and glowy like that Korean glass skin effect I’ve wanted to get. I’m super impressed. I’m a Mixsoon girly for life. 💕🎀🌸✨

I also love that the brand itself grows their own ingredients on a farm in Jeju Island in South Korea and focuses on sustainability. They have high standards for exceptional products! They also donate to different kinds of charities from their proceeds from their brand and that's definitely something I value in a company.

What do you think? Does Mixsoon look like a brand you want to try? I would definitely give their products a go especially their Bean Essence....I really don't think you'll regret it. It's such an impressive and wonderful brand. Lately, I find myself looking to Asian skincare and haircare brands. BEAUTY ♥ Marie Antoinette Rose Soy Candle ♥

Oh, my! It's been quite awhile since I've updated our blog. I've got to change that, oui? Been a bit busy on orders, updating labels and the web shop, social media and more...it can be a lot for little ole' me to do but I'm gonna try to get this sweet little pink blog updated more than I have been doing. What better way to start then to show you what we've been working on and added to the shop. *warm smiles*

This is our newest soy candle! Our "Marie Antoinette" Roses and More Roses Candle. It comes in our signature pink tins and is a pretty baby pink in color. It smells like a sublime rose garden on a sunny summer day!! Tres Magnifique! We've topped it with organic rosebuds and rose petals and of course LOTS of glitter. When I think of Marie Antoinette I tend to think of pretty baby pink and baby blues so I wanted to incorporate that into this candle. We have a baby pink sparkly glitter, a touch of gold glitter, pink heart shaped glitter and a pop of blue glitter that we use in the same named nail polish!

We've been busy in the beauty lab and wanted to share some pretty photos with you babes! We just got in a shipment of the PRETTIEST French Pink Rosebuds ever. Holy Hannah, they're so gosh darn pretty & just perfect. They smell AMAZING and SO fragrant! We're going to be using them in our rose bath salt soaks, a I'm your Venus Love Potion Perfume Oil, this amazing body scrub below and more!

This is our "Blood of Thine Enemies" Sandalwood & Rose Body Scrub available in our "Witchy Things" Collection. It is absolute heaven to use! Made with Cocoa Butter, Organic Sunflower Oil, Rose Absolute, Sandalwood Powder for that bloody red color (wicked grin), rose buds and the most intoxicating sandalwood & rose scent. It'll leave your skin exfoliated, super smooth and so moisturized because of the butter used in it. 

Sandalwood Benefits: 

Skin softening effect making you have baby soft skin. Powerful antibacterial properties. Reduces itchiness,  inflammation, skin redness. Helps to clear skin.

♥ REVIEW: Oh Gorgeous!! Gardenia Brown Sugar Smash Scrub ♥

It's another review of one of our precious potions babes! Have you tried our Oh, Gorgeous! Gardenia Brown Sugar Smash Scrub before? If you haven't, it's a must have potion. Our Brown Sugar Smash Scrubs are perhaps my most favorite of all our scrubs. It makes my skin super moisturized and smell ah-mazing when I use it which is quite often. The fragrance is of course gardenias....so utterly charming and heavenly. If you haven't tried our beauty brand yet you're so missing out. *wink* Our scents and products are simply to die for.

I just had a gorgeous peep ( Hey Kizzy!! ) who bought our Smitten Kitten Shirley Sweet Pea Body Oil tell me that it reminded her of when she went to a gorgeous garden and it was a beautiful day with the sun shining and the smell of sweet peas were in the air...our potion brought back that lovely memory! These are the comments I live for from my customers/friends. *smiles*

This scrub is made with brown sugar...a gentle yet excellent exfoliant as well as a slew of oils, cucumber and green tea extract. Tres jolie, oui? It'll exfoliate your skin all while delivering a rich heady gardenia fragrance and leaving your skin super soft, never greasy. It also has Honey in it babes.  We love honey. As you can see from the lovely photos below it comes in a gorgeous glass jar with an even more gorgeous retro vintage label.  

TO USE: Simply scoop out desired amount you plan on using and place in a pretty pastel bowl...doesn't have to be pastel but come on...who doesn't love a pretty pastel minty green or pink bowl? *wink* Gently rub on skin and wash off with warm water. Your skin is super soft and smells so pretty. Now, get dressed in the cutest outfit you have because you're Gorgeous! *wink*

♥ REVIEW: Prom Queen Microdermabrasion Creme ♥

I thought I should do a little review of one of our products and since we were making up a few of these pretty potions this week I quickly snapped some photos to show you what the love is all about. This is our Prom Queen Micro-Dermabrasion Facial Creme! I'm still working on my photo taking skills but I think these aren't so bad. *wink* I really need to get better lighting. *dimple*

This pretty little creme is chalk full of micro-dermabrasion crystals that help to buff away the top most layer of skin thereby letting new skin cells to grow and replace them. This allows the cremes or serums you place on your skin to soak in better! You can read more about what Micro-dermabrasion is all about here. 

This nifty little creme comes in a 6 oz jar and is made with goodies like coconut oil, shea butter, aloe and the most important part teeny tiny microdermabrasion crystals. It smells like lemony vanilla fabulousness and is very creamy and moisturizing. Suggested use is once a week. 

To use:  Open jar and scoop out a small amount to use on your face. Replace cap and store in a nice cool area in your boudoir. Cleanse your face and simply take the Prom Queen Micro-D Creme and gently buff onto your skin...remember to keep away from your eyes. Next rinse it off and pat dry. This is the perfect time to apply one of our serums or moisturizers to your face. You'll want to make sure to keep out of the sun since your skin may be slightly pink from the crystals doing their thing.

♥ Everything's Better in France ♥

Hey peeps! I just had my birthday (on the 16th!) and boy am I in a happy mood! Okay, not as happy as I would have been having my birthday in Paris, France. Ha! I am a bit obsessed with all things French. It's been a life long goal or should I say resolution! *wink* to go to Paris.

I just adore everything there...the pretty pastries that look like little works of art, Ladurée macarons and delightful tea, the pretty Eiffel Tower where you just might be tempted to take an afternoon picnic and nibble to your hearts content on french breads, pastries, lemonade and delights. And if you can believe it...even the water is better in France! Yep, you heard me. I'll explain.

Since I couldn't go to France, I had a bit of France come to me! I received a special delivery a few weeks ago of that gorgeous pink and white Evian bottle you see above for this special collab with Brandbacker and Evian. I love the stuff! Basically, it's water in a special mist bottle. The water is of course...from France! Just another thing I can add to my list of things from France I adore. The water itself is from the French Alps! Here's what Evian says about how it's packaged.

Now, that's pretty cool, right? You're basically spritzing water that has come straight from the French Alps on your face. Ooh, la, la! right?! It's a really fine mist...feels like you're on a mini roller coaster and you just got misted with water on your face. Really refreshing & hydrating. Plus, it's dermatologically tested and hypo-allergenic which is always a good thing. *wink*

Just as a side note...before I got my hands on this lush little bottle of Evian French Water I had a bit of a beauty practice that I did any time I had to pull an nighter and believe me that can happen a lot when you have your own company. Sometimes I would start to look, how do I say it....tired, pooped...ready to plop into bed exhausted...so I would run some water, hot or cold, on my fingertips and apply to my eyes or splash my whole face sometimes. I swear I looked 100% better after that magical water made contact with my skin. Bright eyes and bushy tailed even! So now I have a nifty and very pretty mobile version I can take with me anywhere I need to refresh and it's from FRANCE and is much better for my skin than just regular tap water. I feel so fancy when I use it too. *dimple*

Beauty Brand: ♡ Soleil Toujours ♡

So I haven't been up here for awhile...sorry peeps! It's been a hectic couple of weeks let me tell you. Had a bit of a family health drama going on here with my mommie...she was in the hospital for about a week, had to have outpatient surgery but thankfully...she seems to be on the mend and much better! What a relief, I tell you!! It's been pretty stressful esp. with running your own company and trying to keep your spirits up for your customers. You guys were sooo wonderful to me and caring, I can't tell you how much it means to me to have such wonderful friends. *hugs*

With everything calming down I can get back to blogging and of course that brings me to this lovely little brand called Soleil Toujours. I'm delighted to be reviewing some lovely samples from this brand. I was really intrigued by them because their products contain SPF protection which I love. We really need to try to protect our skin from the sun more, I think. It's a great concept for a skincare line. 

The Soleil Toujours brand was founded by Valerie McMurray who decided to create a sun care line while pregnant with her third child. She knew it had to be formulated with the world’s finest and safest ingredients, using mineral based actives, free of toxic chemicals and be able to sit on the shelf next to the most glamorous skincare products in the finest resorts and boutiques. So let's talk about the packaging because that's the first thing I always notice about a product. How tres chic is it? I love the black and gold look, don't you? You've got to have great looking products when pampering yourself. *wink*

Take a peek at these pretty little samples below. All of their products contain an innovative proprietary "EcoSun Complex". That sounds pretty cool, yeah? Cornerstone ingredients in these products include red algae, vitamin C ester, Vitamin E and bisabolol to provide powerful anti-oxidant and anti-aging benefits while working to reduce UV-induced DNA damage. The collection is free of parabens, phthalates, sodium laurel sulfates, propylene glycol, petrolatum, synthetic fragrance, synthetic color, and is coral reef safe, hypoallergenic, vegan, and gluten-free. Oooh, that's good stuff!!

The Samples above are as follows from left to right: 
In the little Black Jars: Daily Moisturizer for Face SPF 20 and Body Lotion SPF 30. / The little spray bottles: Mineral Based Sunscreen Mist SPF 30, 100% Mineral Sunscreen Mist in SPF 45 for Children and their Apres Soleil Exotic Shimmer Oil for Body.

Their Mineral Based Sunscreen Lotion for Body SPF 30 I have to admit is my favorite product of theirs...soooo hydrating! It smells so good too! It has spearmint, lemon and rose oils in it. It's a lovely semi-thick white creme that feels very smooth when going on. Love it and the fact that it has SPF 30 in it! 

The other product I tested out was their Daily Moisturizer for Face SPF 20. A light, lovely, airy white creme that leaves your skin very soft. It kind of has a slight herby sniff to it. They use Titanium Dioxide 4.8% Zinc Oxide 5.0% in it as the sunscreen.

Up next is the Soleil Du Midi Mineral Based Suncreen Mist with SPF 30. It has a milky white appearance. I adore the smell of it...so refreshing.  It has two of my favorite ingredients in it...Organic Aloe Vera Leaf Juice and Organic Sunflower Oil AND Jasmine and Violet Extract in it. Ooh, la, la! They also have a Sunscreen Mist for Children with SPF 45 and it smells like apples! Kids would definitely like this...I like it! I'm a sucker for yummy fragrances, which you probably already know. *wink*

Finally, I tried out the Après Soleil Exotic Shimmer Body Oil  I'd make sure to shake this very well before using as the mica settles a bit in the product. It smells like strong rosemary...very earthy and gives my skin a very subtle shimmer. I find they use my beloved oil again Sunflower Oil as well as Pomegranate Seed Oil, and Sweet Almond Oil. It takes a little while to soak in I find on my skin. This product I believe doesn't have any SPF in it. Overall, everything is very lovely! Of all the samples I tried my favorite has got to be the Body Lotion with SPF 30...just so hydrating and soaks in wonderfully. They have quite a few more products to check out too via their website.
