✧˖°🌷 ୨୧˚ Holygrail Asian Haircare ✧˖°🌷 ୨୧˚

Saturday, August 24, 2024

I haven't posted up here in such a long time but when I found these haircare products I felt they deserved a post all about them! But first things first, a little back story....all my life I've tried to find hair products that worked for my hair because when I was about eight I went to a hair salon and needless to say the perm they gave me ruined my hair. Ever since then my hair has been really damaged, dry and with split ends galore.

I think I've tried every product imaginable since I was a little girl to make my hair healthy looking but nothing has ever worked. I've tried drugstore brands and even more expensive brands, shampoos and conditioners which always either left my hair dry or super oily looking, even frizz free products to tame my hair and none of them ever worked. It's been exhausting and frankly, I felt like giving up. I had found an Asian heat protectant hair serum years ago that worked wonders but then, wouldn't you know it....they discontinued it.
And, then, this year I discovered these Asian products below and everything changed! The first product I found was the Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask. The smell of this hair mask is SO good. It smells like honey nectar and flowers and ambrosia of the gods...it's the best way to describe it to be honest. One of my favorite scents! It transformed my hair and gave it back all it's moisture. I think I might have overused it to be honest....because after awhile it started to over moisturize my hair but that only means it did it's job and I didn't need to use it anymore which frankly, kind of bummed me out cause the scent is amazing. I definitely give it 5 stars. One thing when you over moisturize your hair, you need to add protein back into it so I started using a protein hair mask but I'll get to that in another post probably.

You can get the Fino Hair Mask here

The next product I found was the Mise En Scene Serum. It's a wonderful serum that smoothed out my hair and is not greasy. It's a heat protectant and makes my hair super shiny! And omg, the smell....like water lilies. It smells so good. I'd buy it just for the scent alone to be honest. I'll definitely be purchasing this again when I run out.

Another serum I had to have was the Fino Hair Serum also a heat protectant....I wanted something that smelled like the hair mask and this does indeed smell like it. I like to layer it with the other serum but try not to apply too much as it can get weighed down. I definitely think I'll be buying this again.

The last set of products I got and absolutely favorite is this shampoo and conditioner set by Tsubaki. It's the Moist and Repair haircare set and wow! Just wow! I have NEVER found a hair conditioner that has worked for my hair like this one. It doesn't make it greasy and makes my hair look so healthy. I use a lot after I shampoo and really squish it into my hair so every strand gets coated.

This shampoo and hair conditioner has changed my life. My hair is 95% less frizzy without even adding anything else and it looks sooooo incredibly healthy even with my split ends. If these ever get discontinued, I'll be sooo incredibly sad. They're beyond amazing!!!! And that is why I had to post this...cause I've finally found my perfect haircare items after searching forever. I don't think I'll ever use anything on my hair again unless it's from Japan or Korea. My goodness, but I find their products to be far superior than anything I've ever tried. I'm in love.

REVIEW ♥ Bamboo Franck Olivier Perfume ♥

Monday, August 8, 2016

I'm spending my day sniffing perfume and taking pretty photos of this even prettier bottle. I got the chance to try this beautiful perfume below called Bamboo by Franck Olivier from the wonderful store The Fragrance Outlet. And what a store it is...there are lots of pretty perfumes I want to get from them...there's this Barbie one I have my eye on and a Cinderella one too! heehee..I'm a sucker for whimsy and girlish pretties.

How pretty is the bottle?
There's a Bamboo embossed on the bottle itself and the
perfume is light pink!! So pretty...totally vanity worthy.

It smells sooo light, fresh and green.
Definitely a scent that I think most peeps would love.
You only need one spritz to smell oh, so pretty! This bottle will
last a long time so it's such a great value in my opinion.
I really love it and apparently so do my cats!
They were sniffing me like crazy and the bottle too. lol..

Top notes: Blackcurrant, violet leaves, ivy
Middle notes: Lily, rose, ylang-ylang, freesia
Base notes: Musk, cedar and vetiver

I couldn't resist taking some snaps with some of my current fav products and my new phone case...it's sooo magical! Holographic glitter and unicorns? Yes, please! I got mine on ebay because I couldn't find one for compatible for my phone but you can get it from SkinnyDip London here. I LOOOOOVE that store. I want everything there.

That gold jar is my new eye concealer from Skin Food in Korea called Salmon Dark Eye Concealer in Blooming #1. Yes, I know...I'm addicted to Korean Cosmetics and I LOVE it! Super moisturizing and creamy. It really brightens my eyes up.

And next to it, is my Etude House Sweet Recipe Cupcake All Over Color in Blueberry Cheesecake. Love that cute jar so much. I use it mostly for blush. I call it my fairytale blush because it reminds me of Snow White's blush. *dimple*

Oooooh...and that Innisfree Pink Nail polish...the PERFECT shade of pastel pink.
I need to get another bottle ASAP.

You can really see the embossed Bamboo in the photo on my Franck Olivier Perfume Bottle. I love how the perfume is pink. Aesthetics, peeps! Aesthetics. *wink*

Below that is my Cat Winks Pressed Powder Compact (It's empty.... (whispers)....ha!!) but that won't stop me from taking photos of this cute compact. Meow!! I need to get more. And next to that is my go to face makeup. I don't like heavy makeup so I just use a tinted moisturizer and I've been using Radiant Sonia Kashuk in Fair for quite awhile now. Pretty addicted to it.

And below a new love...my NYC Matte Lip Creme in Cannes. I absolutely love this shade...like a rose chocolate...never thought anything other than pink and now red would look good on me...but this is super...super pretty!

You peeps need to try this perfume or at least take a looksie at The Fragrance Outlet.  They've got SO many perfumes to check out. What do you think of this perfume? Have you tried it before or gone shopping at The Fragrance Outlet? Let me know if you did and what goodies you got! Love to you!!

REVIEW Etude House ♥ Bling Me Prism Ruby Red Lips ♥

Thursday, January 7, 2016

Hey Kittens! So January is usually a kind of slow month...at least to begin with when it comes to my beauty brand though I'm sure it'll start to pick up soon especially with Valentines Day coming up and that means I have some extra time to get some blog posts done! Yay! Probably one of my favorite collections is our "Lonely Hearts Club"  Valentines Beauty Collection! le sigh...red, bows, kittens, and love!! It's got it all pretties!! Check it out here. We just put it up.

So one of my Christmas presents was this Etude House Bling Me Prism Red Lipstick and I wanted to show you guys how gorgeous it is!!  If you can believe it I've only just started to wear red lipstick since last year. I always thought it didn't look good on me but who knew?! It's my favorite color now...well, next to hot pink!! giggle...  I think I must have thought it was too bright for my pale complexion or I must have tried an orange red color (which does not look good at all with my coloring!) and it really influenced me because I never tried red lipstick again.

Well, it was actually my new liquid lipsticks in my "Lonely Hearts Club" Valentines Beauty Collection that changed my mind, specifically the "Lover Boy" Blood Red Liquid Lipstick called "The Virgin". I put it on and goodness, people started comparing me to Taylor Swift. Literally!! I had five people point it out to me that I looked like her. Ha! That converted me. *dimple* I love her style. So I tend to always wear our "Lover Boy" Liquid Lipstick now and it's made me want to try other brands out there to see what other red lush lippies I can discover like this Etude House Bling Me Prism Red Lipstick below. Check out the packaging...so cute, right?

BTW, you can get those heart shaped sunnies in my shop!!! *in a sing song voice* lol...

I bet you think that's an actual lipstick, don't you? Well, you're in for a surprise! heehee...keep scrolling down pretties.

I love Korean makeup especially Etude House. Their packaging is always so cute and pretty to look at and this doesn't disappoint. This little lippie came in a pretty red box and the container is even prettier & sneaky! It looks like an actual lipstick...but it's not! It's a liquid lipstick complete with a soft doe applicator wand!!  The "lipstick" part is clear so the color is the actual lipstick you'll be applying to your lips. Sooooo neat! Oh, and the little Coral colored packet next to it was a little sample of coral colored lipstick from Skinfood. Very matte and a little drying but pretty nonetheless.

I did a little swatch for you and yep, shaped it like a heart! It's a pretty candy apple red. At first I wasn't so sure about it...was it too bright against my pale skin? Nope, I find I really liked it after a few days of wearing it.  The formula was very lovely, bright & moisturizing on my lips. It's staying factor was probably a 3 out of a 5. It tends to come off easily and get on my teeth a bit so watch out for that but I thought it was lovely and I would repurchase it. *wink*

Here's what it looks like on my moi! *wink wink* Mwah! Very pretty, right? I thought so! I'm thinking I need to take some snaps of one of our "Lover Boy" Liquid Lipsticks, oui and do up a pretty post on that soon! The more lipstick the better. *dimple*

Kisses, Kittens! Stayed tuned for my next post!! *wink*
