✧˖°🌷 ୨୧˚ Holygrail Asian Haircare ✧˖°🌷 ୨୧˚

Saturday, August 24, 2024

I haven't posted up here in such a long time but when I found these haircare products I felt they deserved a post all about them! But first things first, a little back story....all my life I've tried to find hair products that worked for my hair because when I was about eight I went to a hair salon and needless to say the perm they gave me ruined my hair. Ever since then my hair has been really damaged, dry and with split ends galore.

I think I've tried every product imaginable since I was a little girl to make my hair healthy looking but nothing has ever worked. I've tried drugstore brands and even more expensive brands, shampoos and conditioners which always either left my hair dry or super oily looking, even frizz free products to tame my hair and none of them ever worked. It's been exhausting and frankly, I felt like giving up. I had found an Asian heat protectant hair serum years ago that worked wonders but then, wouldn't you know it....they discontinued it.
And, then, this year I discovered these Asian products below and everything changed! The first product I found was the Fino Premium Touch Hair Mask. The smell of this hair mask is SO good. It smells like honey nectar and flowers and ambrosia of the gods...it's the best way to describe it to be honest. One of my favorite scents! It transformed my hair and gave it back all it's moisture. I think I might have overused it to be honest....because after awhile it started to over moisturize my hair but that only means it did it's job and I didn't need to use it anymore which frankly, kind of bummed me out cause the scent is amazing. I definitely give it 5 stars. One thing when you over moisturize your hair, you need to add protein back into it so I started using a protein hair mask but I'll get to that in another post probably.

You can get the Fino Hair Mask here

The next product I found was the Mise En Scene Serum. It's a wonderful serum that smoothed out my hair and is not greasy. It's a heat protectant and makes my hair super shiny! And omg, the smell....like water lilies. It smells so good. I'd buy it just for the scent alone to be honest. I'll definitely be purchasing this again when I run out.

Another serum I had to have was the Fino Hair Serum also a heat protectant....I wanted something that smelled like the hair mask and this does indeed smell like it. I like to layer it with the other serum but try not to apply too much as it can get weighed down. I definitely think I'll be buying this again.

The last set of products I got and absolutely favorite is this shampoo and conditioner set by Tsubaki. It's the Moist and Repair haircare set and wow! Just wow! I have NEVER found a hair conditioner that has worked for my hair like this one. It doesn't make it greasy and makes my hair look so healthy. I use a lot after I shampoo and really squish it into my hair so every strand gets coated.

This shampoo and hair conditioner has changed my life. My hair is 95% less frizzy without even adding anything else and it looks sooooo incredibly healthy even with my split ends. If these ever get discontinued, I'll be sooo incredibly sad. They're beyond amazing!!!! And that is why I had to post this...cause I've finally found my perfect haircare items after searching forever. I don't think I'll ever use anything on my hair again unless it's from Japan or Korea. My goodness, but I find their products to be far superior than anything I've ever tried. I'm in love.

There was a pin inside my Kawaii Box! A Harajuki Ichigo Badge! I LOVE it!
Sweet cupcakes, rainbows and Ichigo too!

This may be my favorite of all in my Kawaii Box. It's a Pen shaped like a Pocky Stick.
Loved the packaging with the little red polka dot bow.

So effing cute, right?

Can you believe these are ERASERS? Korean Meal Eraser Set.
SO DETAILED! and utterly adorable.

OMG, I want to put these heart stickers on EVERYTHING!! and they're fluffy & plush!! I love touching them. heehee... Such pretty pastel colors too.

These are Twinkle Deco Jewels...again...I want to put them on everything!
Sparkle, sparkle!! SO PRETTY.

This sweet bunny is a phone ring holder and stand. Look at that little face.

Candy time! A sweet Disney Popcan Grape Lollipop shaped like Mickey Mouse!

I love these little DIY candy kits. This is the Kracie Popin' Cookin' Colorful Ramune Land Kit. It made candy that tasted like soda pop.

It came with a candy mold in cute little shapes, spoon and a measuring cup for the water and three packets of the candy dry mixture that comes in red, blue and yellow. You just add one little cup of water to each bag and mix. Here they are below all mixed up.

You can even mix the colors together. Here's a closeup of the mold, mixing cup and a tiny little bowl to mix the colors in. You just cut the bowl and measuring cup off to use. You take the mixtures and push them into the mold or mix for instance the blue and yellow together to get green and push them into the mold. They pop out perfectly.

Here are the finished candies! They taste just like soda pop. I loved the little pineapples the best. They're sooo cute!!

Here's a palm tree! You can see I mixed blue & yellow together to get the green I used for the palms on top. Haha, so fun!

Here's the sweet blue penguin I made. They were quite tasty. Yum yum!

Review & Giveaway ♥ Japan Candy Box: Cookies & Candies Oh My! ♥

Tuesday, January 19, 2016

Oh, boy! You are going to love this review beauties! So many delicious sweets, candies and even savory delights. Yummy!!  Look at all the delicious treats that came in my Japan Candy Box!! OMG. Seriously, so much drooling going on over here. Their candies over in Japan are so much more fun to eat...hahaha!! Japan Candy Box is actually a subscription box that you can get delivered to you every month for less than $20! You get anywhere from  8-10 candies, cookies, sweets, and even savory snacks too in each box. It's so much fun, peeps, you have to try these out. Look at all those goodies below!!!

So the first thing I tried were these cute little round biscuits in the cutest little packaging...I mean, look at that sweet elephant.  Aww..... These are called Takeda Tamago Boro Egg Cookies and they are soooooo darn tasty. Sweet and crunchy...they kind of reminded me of animal crackers. I loved these a lot.

Next up, were these Meiji Juice Gummies. Sweet little gummy candies shaped like a bunch of grapes...and that's what they tasted like...like white grapes! I liked these. I have always love gummy candies.

More cute packaging!  This cute little box had under the sea fishies, octopuses, sharks and more. Adorbs, yes? These are called Meiji Mini Candy Pack. They're little white candies...sweet and subtle. I think their flavor is Yoguret....Candy Coating with youghurt flavoured centres. I thought they were okay...not my favorite but I would definitely eat them!!

OMG. These are freaking amazing!! Puccho Mango Chewy Candy. The flavor!! True, dreamy, fruity, juicy, mangos!! By far, one of my favorites in this Japan Candy Box. You kind of suck on it and chew a little bit and man, the flavor. I highly recommend these candies. SO GOOD. So...very...very...very good. ...giggle...

Strawberries. Yum. These little candies below tasted like yummy strawberries. Coris Strawberry Whistle Candy. Haha, apparently you can whistle with them by blowing through the hole. And yes, I tried it and they do whistle!! So neat! lol... You even get a FREE toy prize in the pack!!

Said toy prize was a cute little red hair brush. Aww.....

Okay, this one candy was the one I didn't like at all. The only item out of the entire box that I really did not like. Puccho Awawawa Ball Candy. There's a layer of hard candy, and at the center a soft and fresh soda flavored core that fizzes in your mouth. I didn't mind that part but the flavor...my taste buds were not digging it. It was kind of sour but not sour...I don't know how to explain it. I just didn't like it.  *sad face*

Koala Bears!!! Come on, how cute are these?!! Lotte Koala March Biscuits!!!! Little biscuits with different koala bears on each one filled with...CHOCOLATE. Oh, yeah, I loved these.

Took a bite to show you what's on the inside.....CHOCOLATE!!! Mmmmm...... Two thumbs up!!

I had my fingers crossed Pocky would be in my box and Yas!!! I got Pocky Panda Cookie Biscuits. OMG. My favorite. Yum...yum...yum...yum...yum! Chocolate flavored biscuits with a cream and cookie coating. Did I say yet that I loved these? I want more!!  Look at the cute panda packaging too. *dimple*

Pocky Panda Cookie Biscuits for the win!! My tummy is happy when I'm eating Pocky!

All right peeps, these were my ULTIMATE favorite item out of the entire box. Holy Hannah, they are sooo good I will be ordering more. Bourbon Petit White Chocolate Stuffed Cookies. They're small itty bitty cookies but sooo delicious.

If you're going to try anything out of this box, go for this one. You can't lose. Or the Pocky Panda...eh, just get both!!!

Last but not least we have a savory snack...the Kracie Popin' Cookin' DIY Takoyaki Set. I had photos showing you how I made these but somehow they got corrupted and I don't have them anymore. *sad pout*

These are not sweet but a savory treat. You get little molds, mixing/measuring containers, & packets of powdered food. You start by mixing up this gummy paste which is made from octopus!! and mold it in the shapes of octopus tentacles!

You actually get to mix up your own mayo and soy sauce by adding water to the packets provided. Then, you mix up this batter which is almost like a pancake batter or maybe I should say like a corn dog batter which it  kind of tasted like to me.  You have these little round molds that you pour some of the batter in, top with the octopus shaped gummy and put in the microwave for about a minute I think. It pops up and looks like a round little treat.

Now, for the toppings...you pour on some of the soy sauce which was sooo yummy by the way and then drizzle the mayo over just like you see in the picture below and pop a toothpick in one and nibble away. I really liked them! My first time eating octopus!! hahaha... You have to try these at least once peeps. It was so much fun to make.

Wasn't that fun? I'm sure you're drooling on your computer screen right now, aren't you? Well, I can do something about that...how about you enter for a chance to win one of these fun and yummy Japan Candy Boxes!!?!! Oh, yeah. Just enter below peeps. Open Internationally. *wink wink* Man, I love these boxes!

♥ Meet My New Kitties! ♥

Friday, October 16, 2015

Happy October peeps!! This last month has been full of surprises with tons of exhausting work making lots and lots of pretty potions for some brand new stockists!! Yay!!! It's been overwhelming to say the least. Whew! I feel like I want a vacation but then I think about that next batch of orders and I get all excited! heehee... Along with all that going on and getting to eat pumpkin pie and eggnog...eeeeek...I LOVE October!!...an unexpected surprise entered my life...or I should day three surprises!  Bear with me here because there is going to be a lot of kitty photos on this post! A LOT! Ha!

You all know I just got my first kitten or rather fate delivered him to my front door, my sweet little Zeus below. I've had him for about four months now and my goodness has he grown so BIG! Here is as a little baby (though he's still a baby to me right now at six months of age!!) He was SO SMALL!!! Awww....so cute and very spoiled!!  I can't believe he was that teeny tiny. *heart melts*

Here he is taking his second bath!!! Look at that whittle face.
He reminds me a little bit of Cary Grant, don't you think? It's the ears!! ...giggle...
He's not too keen on baths but he doesn't necessarily hate them either.
In fact, lately he's been very curious about the bathtub!

He's getting so BIG!!!!! in such a short amount of time too!!! Can't he stay a little baby forever pleeeeease?!  Ha! He's loves to do his little love dance (That's what I call it...other peeps call it kneading biscuits!) every night and boy, is he spoiled! I've been trying to find a new food for him but he is very picky...like his mommy! heehee....

I just recently got over a scare he gave me when he apparently became allergic to his food Nutro. It was awful!  Vomiting and diarrhea...I thought there was something really wrong but as it turns out it was his food because as soon as I took him off of it no more issues. Thank goodness!  but at the same time I feel so bad because he loved that food...he would wolf it down every time it was put out.

I'm having a hard time finding a food he loved as much as that one...and there aren't that many kitten foods out there. He seems to like the two new foods I got him...Wellness Core Kitten Food and Natural Balance Kitten Formula but not quite as much as Nutro. Oh, dear.

So you know about little Zeus...what you don't know is that for the past month I've had NEW kittens..THREE new kittens!!!!  What a surprise!! I wasn't expecting to have these kittens but I've just fallen in love with them all. I guess we were all destined to be together! I can't tell you how overwhelmed I was when I got Zeus but now! four kitties all together! I would never have imagined it.

But it was love at first sight with all my sweet kitties. It's starting to make sense now why my family nicknamed me "Kitty!" when I was a wee baby myself!! hahahahaha....    Meet Herman...the little black and white cutie on the right and Princess Lily...my little French Fille (Girl!!) I've always wanted on the left!!!

And this is Princess Jane below! Isn't she a beauty? Her fur is SOO soft too and she's just a little doll baby!  Excuse the frizzy poufy hair in that photo...never use a cheap hair dryer peeps. Never! Ugh!!

They're all brothers and sisters!!! Japanese Bobtails and I believe half Siamese to be exact! Apparently, Japanese Bobtails are very rare and have a long history going back to the 6th century!!! Who knew?!!  They're considered a lucky cat and to have one assures prosperity and happiness. They're pretty neat little kitties! And here I am obsessed with all things Japanese and these little kitties find me. Fate or what?!!

Which reminds me when I got Zeus I researched his breed and did you know that orange tabbies are actually considered to be the original witches familiar cat?!! I always thought it was black cats but nope...orange tabby's!!  Bippity Boppity Boo!

Here's mommy and daddy...two strays I have been feeding! The handsome fellow on the left is Jack...I named him after Johnny Depp's character in the Pirates of the Caribbean because he loves to steal food from his ladylove and he's SUCH a sweetheart like Captain Jack Sparrow! So affectionate and his ladylove I call Daisy. I didn't even know she was a girl when I gave her that name. She's very aloof and not quite accustomed to people but when she sees Jack she lights up and bumps heads with him. They get all lovey dovey. Awww...When I gave her her name I just figured she looked like a girl and boy, was I right!  Apparently, they had kittens!!!

So let me introduce you the first kitten I found, little Herman!!!  When I first found him he was sick...here's a photo I snapped of him below when I found him. Poor wee baby was SO tiny and really sick. He had that little eye patch of lord knows what on his eye and it was badly infected. I googled what to do to remove it and must have spent 40 minutes with a warm compress pressed up to his whittle eye to get it to come off.  I had to wash him and I'm not kidding he must have had 400 fleas on him and he was incredibly dirty!!! There were literally so many fleas they were jumping off of him. *sad face*

Of course, went directly to the vet where we got medicine and eye creme...expensive eye creme. Geez...more expensive than the medicine itself. Anyway, he was on his way to getting better and the vet thought he might have worms cause his little belly was SO round...but he didn't have any at all. I call him my little blueberry muffin because of that little belly! It's round like a blueberry!

Look at how tiny he was only a month ago!! The size of a teacup!! SOOOOOOO cute!! I have way too many nicknames for that love muffin. I call him Mr. Bitey Pants because he LOVES...I mean, really loves to bite and use his claws which seemed to be permanently out all the time. And they are SHARP!! Ouch! I also call him my little Bun Bun because his hind legs look like a rabbit as well as his little tail. Japanese Bobtail kitties have an itty bitty round tail which makes them look a lot like a bunny. He definitely takes after his mommy Daisy. He's soo cute when he bounces around...like a bunny!

Here he is all better after his medicine!! Look at that little face!!! *heart melts*

And now here is just a week ago, my little butterball. He loves to eat and isn't picky at all like Zeus. Ha! He'll eat anything and everything! Herman has a never ending stomach. giggle... doesn't it look like he's smiling here? He's best buds with Zeus and loves to cuddle up to him on his bed when they're sleeping...ergo here he is in Zeus's bed. lol...

The second kitty I found was my little Princess Lily!!! I may have gotten her second but I actually saw her first. In fact, she was the first kitten to see me and of course hiss! haha...my little fierce princess. But ever since that moment when she hissed at me I felt a connection to her and she me too because every time she sees me she always purrs...every...single...time. Not even exaggerating a little bit.  And when she cries she sounds like a banshee!! I'm not kidding. Just like a banshee.

I got my little French Fille all white kitten after all. I love her markings! She's all white except for a patch of black fur around her right eye, a little round patch of black fur on her back which if you ask me sometimes looks like a heart and her tail...her cute little crooked tail! It's just a wee bit crooked right in the middle and is the cutest thing when she plays with her ball. She'll twist it and turn it in the air to maneuver herself.  The way that she bounces and leaps reminds of those 1930 trapeze artists. Can't you just imagine her in a little glitter and sequined tutu with a sequined flower headband?!!

Here's my little princess cleaning herself like proper royalty! giggle... Look at that sweet pink belly and her little black paws. She's my little flutter baby too..she actually flutters when she purrs! I've never heard a kitten flutter before.

Here's Princess Jane!! This pretty sweetheart I just found this month. She's my little October kitty and doesn't she just have the coloring of a witchy poo cat. I could just see her with a little Witches Hat on her cute little head. I call her my little crybaby like that Melanie Martinez song, because she cries like a little crybaby. She's incredibly sweet.

She's still getting used to being inside and is a little skittish but loves her brothers and sisters and has a sweet spot for Zeus. She loves to play with his tail!!

Her fur is INCREDIBLY soft...like a mink coat!! How gorgeous is she?!!!

Kitty Kisses!! I have to be careful with my lipstick or there would be red lip prints all over their head! I love giving kitty kisses!!

Aren't they all adorable?!! I can't believe I have them all...I thought one cat was a handful...now, I've got four kitties to love and take care of but I wouldn't give them up for anything. Their personalities are soo darling and I love them all so much. I can't wait to Instagram more photos of them for you all to see. They make me smile every day. In fact, today I was sound asleep and woke up to find them all at the bottom of my bed surrounding my feet asleep. They love their mommy. *heart melts*  SO happy I finally got some time to put this blog post together so you all could meet them...I've been overwhelmed lately with taking care of them and holiday orders. Whew!
